- At the Shipp Laboratory at Dana-Farber, Shipp’s multi-disciplinary group is committed to translating emerging genetic signatures of specific lymphoid malignancies into more accurate diagnoses and improved therapies.
- Shipp, with Philippe Armand, MD, led the phase 2 clinical trial that resulted in the accelerated approval of nivolumab (Opdivo) for patients with recurrent Hodgkin lymphoma.
- She coordinated the development of the International Prognostic Index.
- Recipient of the 2001 Doris Duke Clinical Scientist Award.
- Shipp has coauthored over 200 publications.
- She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and a Fellow of the American Association of Cancer Research Academy.
