At the Shipp Laboratory at Dana-Farber, Shipp’s multi-disciplinary group is committed to translating emerging genetic signatures of specific lymphoid malignancies into more accurate diagnoses and improved therapies.
Shipp, with Philippe Armand, MD, led the phase 2 clinical trial that resulted in the accelerated approval of nivolumab (Opdivo) for patients with recurrent Hodgkin lymphoma.
She coordinated the development of the International Prognostic Index.
Recipient of the 2001 Doris Duke Clinical Scientist Award.
Shipp has coauthored over 200 publications.
She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and a Fellow of the American Association of Cancer Research Academy.
